Marrakech - the Red City - offers single travellers a plethora of intrigues to uncover. Imagine the aromatic scents of exotic and colourful spices filling the air of the labyrinth-like souks, the enchanting mosques and imposing palaces, whilst ancient red-brick walls hide chic bars and the well-heeled locals and visitors as they indulge local delicacies.
For our singles holiday to Marrakech we take you into the heart of Marrakech town - Morocco's most popular destination and a haven for travellers of all types - from stylish aesthetes to curious solo travellers looking for an exotic adventure in the sun. You'll discover busy souks where you can buy spices and local traditional Moroccan wares, explore for hours the Djemaa el-Fna market and witness awe-inspiring sunsets over the roofs of the city. In-between the sites - take a stroll around the medina for a little shopping - and later join the Marrakchi socialites for a belly dance and some fantastic local foods across the city's vibrant restaurants. Remember - Moroccan food is made to be shared - so if you're a foodie - you'll love exploring the markets and restaurants of Morocco with like minded singles.
Nestled in the heart of Ocre, only a short stroll from the historical centre and famous Kemaa El Fna Square, this contemporary three star hotel is perfectly located for sightseeing and enjoying the bustling streets of Marrakech.
The hotel offers the perfect place to relax and unwind with an inviting spa and traditional Hammam, designed to offer you a sensory experience and relaxing stay. Small enough to feel cosy, but large enough to offer a range of treatments to its guests, you are sure to experience pure bliss!
Maintain your exercise routine in the hotels sports hall complete with state of the art gym equipment, if that sounds too much like hard work, head to the rooftop pool and sun terrace to soak up the sun, whilst overlooking the majestic rooftops of Marrakech and beyond onto the Atlas Mountains.
For gourmet lovers, the hotel offers a choice of restaurant options serving an array of delicious cuisines. Restaurant International offers food of traditional international fare, with both a menu and buffet option. Enjoy a number of light cuisines at the poolside Café Snack or opt for a traditional mint tea, a juice or a cool drink, in a relaxing atmosphere.

Hotel Marrakech Racine offers -
Day 1 - Welcome to Marrakech
On arrival in Marrakech you will be transferred to your Hotel. Your Solitair host will arrange welcome meeting and dinner together at your hotel.
Day 2 – Half day Marrakech City tour
After a leisurely breakfast you will be met by your guide who will take you on a magical tour of the city to include Place Jamaal el Fna for an orientation tour of the ancient medina, the souks and the 16th century Koranic school of Medersa ben Yousef. Afternoon at your leisure.
Evening you may opt to hit the night life of the Medina market or to possibly the sophisticated Jad Mahal for an elegant fun night’s dancing and people watching over a few drinks!
Day 3 – Free day to explore the delights of Marrakech.
Optional visit to Les Jardins Majorelle gardens,.the former home of Yves St Laurent,. We suggest a tranquil afternoon sipping refreshing fruit infusions in the shaded outdoor restaurant and maybe a fruit-filled crepe if you are feeling indulgent. You may also wish to visit the Islamic Art Museum within the grounds of Les Jardins Majorelle..
Day 4 - Farewell
Breakfast and farewell to Marrakech. Transfer to the airport for your return flight home.
Explore the markets - The souks in Morocco are simply incredible - the sites and sounds, tastes and aromas - all fascinating. Be sure to put enough time for the largest open air market in Morocco - Djeema el fna, which is beautiful, photogenic and unique.
Architecture - See the beauty of of traditional Almohad architecture at the Koutoubia Mosque. Look to the skyline to see the towering minarets and listen for the call to prayer that comes out of them.Look out for pretty Fez mosques with fountains and walls covered in lustrous green and white Fassi zellij (ceramic-tile mosaic), which are built to look spiritually uplifting.
The Gardens - When the city streets get a little much, seek out the peaceful gardens of La Mamounia, Arset El-Mamoun and the Majorelle Gardens for a little tranquility.
See the ancient world - Seek out the magic of the ancient word at the Saadian Tombs and the Sultan’s Palace - both of which offer beautiful insights into Marrakech’s past.
The food - We think that there are few places better to explore the cuisine than in Morocco - so eat traditional Moroccan cuisine under the cover of palms and bright African starlight and if you’d like to try your hand at the preparation then delve into a scented souk to buy a few spices - such as Ras el hanout or Cumin.
Art - Appreciate some African-inspired modern art in the Medina’s Dar Cherifa exhibition space, or take a tour around the city’s various photography museums to see the Marrakech of recent history.
Relax - There are a thousand different ways to relax in Marrakech, but our favourite is at a Hammam or whilst quaffing cocktails up high on a lively roof terrace with a view of the city - such as Kechmara which isn’t too far from the hotel.
Belly Dance - Local customs are aplenty in Marrakech and we think that there few better ways to end a night out in the city than with an exotic belly dance in one of Marrakech’s chic bars.
