Singles Holidays Goa, India

Goa - The unique experience of India……

Goa is a striking blend of culture and history with famously long beaches and coconut palms lying on the coast of the Arabian Sea. Earthy tones are saturated by the warm sun and vibrancy of green flora brings so much beauty to the land. Serene blue waters will put you at ease as everyday life in Goa is a pleasant moment without a hint of the usual strains!

Put everything aside for a singles adventure with spectacular scenery and intriguing history all set within the smallest state of India. Singles travel from all over the world to envelop themselves with the magic of Goan structures, ancient artwork and festivals a feast for the eyes.

Witness the sun rise as you prepare for a day surrounded by the culture of modern day India with influences from the rule of sixteenth century Portugal colonies. Before the sun sets you can experience the wonders of ancient architectural sites and inspiring cuisine or simply let the day pass on a relaxing beach with friendly locals and more like minded singles.

Our Resort - Baga (North Goa)

The friendly village of Baga is placed on the glistening shoreline of the Arabian Sea, hosting a selection of water sports and dolphin cruises!

An exciting vibe from Goan locals follows onto visitors in this area of Baga and combines the easy going lifestyle with more action and adventure. Baga Beach offers water activities ranging from paragliding to jet skiing and wind surfing.

Pick a spot at the beach and rest your body on a sun lounge with an Indian Kingfisher beer in hand. Tempt yourself to exquisite foods and local delicacies in the company of solo travelling sight seers as you unwind in a sublime environment. As the evening approaches there is more entertainment on offer with a pulsating nightlife and more restaurants to enjoy Indian classics. Not far from the beach you will find flame juggling bartenders who can mix your favourite cocktail and DJ’s who keep the lively atmosphere going.

Be dazzled by the colourful flea market on a Wednesday and Saturday where you can stroll through ornate hand-crafted objects, jewellery and traditional foods. The perfect spot to shop for a memorable item or share interests with other singles!

Goa - Resort Activities

Baga Beach

Baga Beach has a special place in many hearts for providing that well deserved rest and relaxation without becoming a hugely populated tourist hot spot. With sandy beaches and a stunning backdrop of greenery, you’ll immediately feel at peace. A great place to shop, eat and relax with cocktails or the famous Kingfisher beer before a lively nightlife inspires you into a dancing mood.

Water sports

At the beach you’ll find water sports like surfing and water skiing for adrenaline seekers or those with a soft spot for animals, dolphin spotting is highly recommended for a special moment to remember. It is also possible to set up your fishing gear on one of many large black rocks which dot the coast and wait for the catch.

If diving is your thing, try the Indian waters for impressive sights of tuna, cuttlefish, barracuda among many more under water life. Coral reef and age old shipwrecks from the second world war are to be discovered for enthusiastic divers and solo adventurists.

Local flea markets are held in Arpora village on a Saturday which is a remarkable sight as the sun sets and lights come up. Shopping for clothes and well-crafted jewellery has never been such a pleasure in the quaint ambiance of Goa. For a completely different feel, the blast of colour from Anjuna Market will bring back fond memories from the 60’s with more stunning items available at each stall.

Capital Panjim

Take a ferry along the Mandovi River for an experience of Panjim. This city is comparable to Lisbon, the capital of Portugal, for its superb architectural achievements. Panaji reflects on its previous occupancy with white washed facades and red tiled roofs dotted on the hills.

Temples and Churches

Having been colonised by the Portuguese, Goa has a rich history and accompanying structural charm with intriguing churches, temples, and villas at the end of cobbled streets. The architecture of Goa is the most prominent reminder of its past rule and the devotion to religion.

Health and Rejuvenation

Renowned for practices of health and rejuvenating the body, Goa has many opportunities to learn the basic principals of Yoga to relieve your stresses at a local class. Feel incredible after your stretchesFor a little further detox, a traditional pancha-karma offers the most invigorating example of Ayrvedic treatments available.

Arts and Crafts

Festive Indian arts can be admired as you pass through villages to see ‘Rangoli’ floor painting and flower weavers making some impressive pieces of art. Decorate yourself with a henna tattoo which will leave a lasting memory on this singles holiday, and something to show off when you arrive back home!

Wildlife Santuary

See tigers for yourself at the Dandeli Wildlife Sanctuary, while elephants, leopards and other wild animals roam their luscious green environment. Exotic birds will fly over head as you wander into the jungle. Hear the Indian Cuckoo and perhaps a Golden Back Woodpecker before exploring the white water rafting opportunities in Dandeli.

Spice Plantation

Take a walk on the spicy side with a journey through a spice plantation right in the middle of mountain panoramas and exotic fruit laden trees. Escape from the town into this area for rare views of everyday spices being refined directly at the farm by experienced workers. There are many spots of natural beauty with small streams at your feet and a place to watch the sun set, the spice plantation visit is a must!
