Churches and mosques are built side by side, reflecting many styles of architectural design and religion in this area. Notable sites for singles travelling to Kyrenia include the thirteenth century Bellapais Monastery and Kyrenia mountain range with the most impressive views of three strategically placed castles guarding the Northern Cyprus coastline from invasion.
Relax with the sand between your fingers and toes, the sea peacefully sways and your view is taken up by Kyrenia’s ancient stone structures and rugged chain of mountain tops. A drive from Kyrenia across the Five Finger Mountain and Messaouria Plain will bring us out to the modern city of Famagusta. We will visit St Nicholas Cathedral and Shakespeare inspiring Othello’s Tower before lunch. Afterwards we make our way to an incredibly well preserved ancient city called Salamis and continue to the Monastery and Museum of Saint Barnabas which is home to some unique artefacts.
Nicosia & Kyrenia Tour

Northern Cyprus and especially Kyrenia is, for adventure enthusiasts, a perfect opportunity to walk along historic, charming and beautiful routes. We set off in the morning with a brief guide of the mornings activities and head towards the village of Bellapais with its stunning monastery. Get a picture or two with the ‘Tree of Idleness’ before we move onto the old carob syrup and olive oil producing town of Ozankoy. A reinvigorating breath of Cypriot air on this walking tour can be a touch of heaven for those who enjoy a leisurely stroll.
In association with Kyrenias only BSAC/PADI certified diving school, we go underwater for a day of scuba diving. The crystal clear waters of Deniz Kizi beach provide the perfect opportunity to come close to local sea creatures.
Beginners will soon be feeding the fish and drifting past octopus, stingrays and wonderful sea turtles. More advanced divers can explore the underwater caves, reef and age-old shipwrecks before climbing back on board for lunch and drinks with new friends.
