The journey starts aboard MV Yasawa Princess and soon there will be plenty of opportunities to explore the tropical waters of one of the best places in the world to dive and snorkel. On this cruise of a lifetime you will stop off at the incredible and famous central Atolls, South Male, Vaavu & Ari Atoll in addition to the Virgin Islands
The crystal waters can leave you feeling like you have vertigo when you look into them from a boat, whilst the diversity of marine life is incredible, with huge manta rays, whale sharks, green turtles and schools of fish all within your reach.
Your underwater adventure awaits you with three dives a day and a thrilling weekly night dive, designed to provide the best Maldivian experience. Swim and snorkel in tropical waters, or dive in the top dive sites of the marine wonderland.
On dry land visit deserted islands and local island villages to experience the island life and night fishing under a starry sky. After an exhilarating day diving, head back on board to sunbath on deck and mingle with fellow like-minded single passengers.
YASAWA PRINCESS was purpose built for tropical ocean cruising and is ideally suited for a scenic diving cruise.
The ship has 33 cabins spread across three decks with an on-board passenger capacity of 60. All cabins are non-smoking and air-conditioned. They are all compact and furnished to a modern style, en suite shower, WC and wet area, hairdryer and safe deposit box.

DAY 1 (MONDAY)
Welcome to the Maldives, Yasawa Princess will be anchored just off of Villigili, a convenient 20 minutes boat ride from Male International Airport. Our Guest Relations Officer (GRO) will greet you on arrival and assist you to the boat’s private tender for your transfer. On arrival to the boat we will help get you checked into your cabin and provide a welcome briefing including Safety procedures and introduction to your Yasawa Princess cruise experience. On this informal session you will meet guests onboard, the dive team and the crew members who will assist you throughout your cruising holiday. followed by a pre-dinner cocktail on the Bar/Restaurant deck and watch the sunset over the Indian Ocean,
DAY 2 (TUESDAY)
Depart from Male’ Anchorage and cross Vaadhoo Channel to South Male’ Atoll.
Morning and afternoon visit the beautiful Sand Bank (Kalhuhuraa), where you can relax and soak up the sun, take a dip in the warm Indian Ocean. *Beach Umbrellas will be placed on the sand bank for some shade.
Diving : Vaagali Caves & Vaagali Thila
Vaagali Caves – Easy Divesite as a start located outside the picnic island Vaagali. Some Overhangs along the wall, lot of schooling fish and Napoleons, Whitetips and Sting rays can be spotted.
Vaagali Thila – Large Pinnacle in Vaagali Chanel, with beautiful coral and fish life. With incoming current there is a good possibility of sighting Schooling sharks crusing in the current.
DAY 3 (WEDNESDAY)
Short Cruise within the atoll to Rannalhi.
Morning and afternoon visit to the Resort island Rannali, a small boutique resort island located on the western edge of South Male’ Atoll. Easy Access for the sorrounding reef for snorkeling. Spa and Other facilities can be booked directly on the resort.
Night Fishing Trip will be organized by the crew from 1730 Hrs - 1930 Hrs. Traditional Hand Line will be used.
*if there is more than 15 Pax an Additional Night Fishing trip will be organized during the week
Diving : Guraidhoo Corner & Villivaru Giri
Guraidhoo Corner – one of the best dive sites in south male’ atoll for its reef formation & Fish Life. With current coming in to the atoll you will see Grey Reefs, White Tipped Reef Sharks, Schooling Eagle Rays and Dog Tooth Tuna’s Passing By
Villivaru Giri - small pinnacle inside the atoll with lots of fish and beautiful overhangs. Good site for smaller special things like Frog Fish, Ghost pipe fish, and many more.
DAY 4 (THURSDAY)
Early Morning Cross the channel into Vaavu Felidu Atoll to reach Alimatha Sand bank ( Approx 5 Hrs)
Located on the Eastern Edge of the Atoll. A big turquoise lagoon surrounds this sand bar and an attractive reef to snorkel.
Morning and afternoon will be spent on this sand bank. Lunch will be served on the boat. Sun Umbrellas will be placed for shade if the conditions are favorable.
Optional: Night Snorkeling Session on Alimatha Resort House Reef, this excursion has been one of the favorites among our guests. Huge Nurse Sharks, Sting Rays & Travallys can be spotted throughout this experience. Chargeable USD 15.00 incl. GST
Diving : Miyaru kandu & Devana Kandu
Miyaru kandu – Channel Dive, where you cross the channel from one side to the other looking out for larger pelagic’s like Sharks and Eagle rays passing by.
Devana kandu – Narrow Channel with a reef in the middle. Ideal for Big Fish, like sharks, Napoleon and Eagle Rays. Turtles can be also sighted on the shallower part of the dive.
DAY 5 (FRIDAY)
Leisurely Cruise in the morning to Anbaraa
Anbaraa, Small picnic island located on the north western side of Vaavu Atoll. Easy access to the reef for snorkelers.
Evening BBQ - our crew will set up for dinner under the stars on the beach. This is probably one of the favourite and most memorable evenings of our cruise. Our chefs will prepare a Maldivian beach BBQ, with drinks and music, whilst we enjoy the amazing beauty and a spot of stargazing.
Diving : Rakeedhoo Kandu
Rakeedhoo Kandu – Corner of rakeedhoo channel offers weel grown hard coral and overhangs, covered with soft corals on the roof. Bigger Pelagic fish can be spotted with in coming current.
DAY 6 (SATURDAY)
Early Morning Cross the channel to South Ari Atoll (Aprox. 6Hrs)
Tender will be ready as soon as we reach this sand bank in south ari atoll. Reef surrounding the sandbank has lot of healthy hardcorals, snorkelers love this reef. Lunch will be served on the boat and will return to the sand bank in the afternoon.
Night Fishing Trip will be organized by the crew from 1730 Hrs - 1930 Hrs. Traditional Hand Line will be used.
Diving : Kuda Rah Thila & Hudhu Thila
Kuda Rah Thila – Protected dive site, small pinnacle starting top reef at around 16m with soft corals and overhangs. Thousands of Blue Stripped Snappers can be found at the top of this reef.
Machafushi Wreck – Only Wreck in the region, a pourposely sunk, small cargo freighter. Lots of Coral Has grown on top of the making it an healthy artificial reef. Lots of Glass fish inside crevices, lion fish, scorpion and stone fishes can be spotted.
DAY 7 (SUNDAY)
Short Cruise from Oshagali to Ariadhoo
An agricultural Island with lot of plantation. Access to a sand stretch to relax, easy access to the ocean for swimming and snorkeling.
Optional: Whale shark excursion, guests will go out on the dive dhoni in search of these gentle giants. This region in the Maldives has the highest probability in finding the Whale Shark. (chargeable USD15 incl. GST)
Local Island Visit late afternoon to Maamagili to wander through experiencing the local lifestyle and it is a good opportunity to do some shopping for souvenirs for the loved ones.
Diving : Maamagili Corner / Kudadhoo Beyru,
Both dive sites are outside of the atoll easy wall dives with the chance of spotting a whale shark.
The boat will be anchored off Maamagili Domestic Airport for mid cruise Arrivals/Departures.

The average group size is 12 but the numbers vary depending on time of the year and destination.
What is the ratio of men to women?
We do not manage the proportion of women to men on our solo holidays. The ratio varies, but is usually around three women to each man.
How do I connect with other singles going on holiday?
Once you have booked your holiday, you can register to our site by using your booking reference number to join our on line community of single travellers. Are you a dating agency?
No, we do not design our holiday packages to have any aspect of introduction or dating services. We offer holidays purely for single travellers who want to go it alone but do not want to spend their holiday on their own. Good friends do certainly result from our holidays. Although individuals have met and become a couple as a result of our holidays this is not an intention of Solitair.

On all our singles holidays we arrange meals together, offer advice on excursions and answer any questions. Of course there will be plenty of time and space for you to be alone whenever you choose.
When will I meet my Solitair Representative?
Your Solitair representative will meet you either at your resort or at your destination airport.Your representative will be available during your holiday to ensure everything runs smoothly and add that reassuring personal touch. Our friendly hosts are specially selected from the respective countries, as our experience has shown that their local knowledge and skills will add value to your holiday and also we are committed in supporting local tourism.

What is smart price?
Smart price is an early booking discount and to take advantage of smart price you should book early and pay in full at the time of booking.
How much deposit is required to book the holiday?
You can secure your booking by paying £100 deposit for UK holidays, £200 for European holidays & £500 for Worldwide holidays anytime up to 10 weeks prior to departure.
How do I know if my booking has been confirmed?
When booking a holiday on-line or over phone, you will receive a confirmation in 24 hours with a booking reference by e mail. Please print the page or write down the booking reference number when you receive it. You will also receive an e-mail confirming the receipt of your payment.
When do I have to pay for my holiday in full?
The balance is required no later than 10 weeks before departure. If you are due to travel within 10 weeks of making the booking, payment is required in full when you book your holiday.
What payment methods do you accept?
Payment of your holiday can be made by Debit or Credit card over the phone or online. No surcharge is levied on Credit cards, Debit cards, Delta, Visa Debit, Master Debit, Solo and Electron cards
If I have a special request?
If you have a special request this must be made at the time of booking over the telephone or online booking. Please be advised certain request are subject to supplement for e.g: Pre bookable seats, Extra legroom seats, Pool / Sea view rooms. Special dietary request must be notified at the time of booking and vegetarian diet, gluten free diet can be catered on all our holidays. All special request must be notified at the time of booking and appropriate supplement if applicable must be paid to guarantee the service.
Will you send me a reminder when I have to pay the balance?
We do not issue reminders for the balance. Your holiday confirmation advice you the date for balance payment and serves as your final invoice.
Can I fly from my local airport?
To make your travel easier, we endeavour if available to offer direct flights to a selection of our destinations at a supplement. Or we can arrange regional connection to major airports.
When will I receive my tickets?
Your Electronic tickets and final travel details will be issued approximately 7-10 days prior to departure.

If there is a mistake in my confirmation, what should I do?
Telephone 0844 414 4010 quoting your booking reference number immediately on receipt of email invoice. Once confirmed and invoiced, any changes by you to your details or holiday arrangements will incur an administration fee of £50.
Can I cancel my holiday?
Yes you can. Please advise us by telephone immediately and also in writing. If you cancel you will be liable to pay cancellation fees detailed in our Booking Conditions.
Do I have to share a bedroom?
No, we recognise that people have the right to travel without the burden of additional supplement costs, which is why Solitair make no single supplement charges and we do not ask or expect you to share a room with one of your companions unless you decide to.
Do you charge a single room supplement?
No. Our prices are based on single occupnacy.
What is Share & Save option
Certain holidays we offer Share & Save option with same gender and similar age group to reduce the cost of the holiday.
Can two single friends travel together?
Although the vast majority of our customers travel alone, some people who have recently become alone or solo and are not ready to go alone do travel with a friend.
Can Solitair organise my car parking and overnight stay at the airport?
Yes just give us a call and we will be pleased to assist you with your arrangements.
Can I pre-book my seats on the aircraft?
Yes, you can pre book your seats on the aircraft for a supplement, please advise at the time of booking.
When are flight times confirmed?
If you contact our Customer Services approximately 7 – 10 days before the departure date, we should be able to confirm final flight times.
Why do you need my insurance and next of kin/friends details?
If you have taken your own insurance we ask for details so that in the event of an emergency, we can deal with any problems. Also to assist you if required to contact your next of kin or friend.
