


Day 01
On arrival in Kuala Lumpur you will be met by your Solitair Guide and transferred to your hotel to check in and settle down after your journey. Welcome Icebreaker meeting at your hotel where you will meet your fellow travelers and your Solitair guide you to the best places to explore in the city.
Leisurely day to get acquainted with your surroundings.
Day 02 KUALA LUMPUR
Full day tour – City & Countryside
For first timers to the city, this tour introduces you to the beauty of old and modern Kuala Lumpur. The first stop will be an opportunity to photograph the famous Petronas Twin Towers; the world’s tallest, as it stands majestically in the city center. Take a flight of 272 steps to discover the shrine to Lord Muruga, a Hindu deity, while the museum cave host paintings and murals depicting scenes from Hindu scriptures. Followed by a guided tour to the outlying countryside to discover the mysteries of rural life in Malaysia
Day 03 KUALA LUMPUR – PENANG
Early morning breakfast and off to Penang. Stop at the Royal town of Kuala Kangsar for photo opportunities of the Ubudiah Mosque, Iskandariah Palace and Istana Kenangan. Drive further north to Taiping where the famous Taiping museum, the oldest in the country is situated and walk around its scenic lake garden. Proceed further to Kuala Sepetang mangrove forest, the best managed mangrove forest in Malaysia. Delight in the novelty of walking through a natural mangrove forest on a boardwalk. Kuala Sepetang produces the bulk of the nation’s top quality mangrove charcoal. Visit a charcoal kiln where quality charcoals are produced.
Cross over to Penang, better known as the “Pearl of the Orient” via the fifth longest bridge in the world. Check in hotel and opportunity to discover the unseen Penang. After a hectic day a welcome opportunity to relax.
DAY 04 PENANG
Proceed for a City and Heritage tour. Visit the 3rd longest Reclining Buddha in the world, followed by a fascinating visit to the Botanical Gardens which offers lush green surroundings with a wide variety of tropical plants and bird life. A later visit to the Kek Lok Si Temple built in 1904, the most beautiful and largest Buddha Temple Complex in South East Asia and is known as the Temple of 1000 Buddhas and Fort Cornwallis where Captain Francis Light first landed. Continue to the old part of Georgetown where the Khoo Kong Si Clan House is located. Evening at leisure.
DAY 05 PENANG - LANGKAWI
Breakfast at hotel and check out. Transfer to Penang Jetty for a ferry to Langkawi. The journey from Penang Jetty to Kuah Jetty is about 02hours 15minutes. Upon arrival for pick up to transfer to hotel. Free at own leisure.
DAY 06 LANGKAWI
Discover Langkawi’s rugged coastline, limestone rock formation, beautiful bird life (including the rare brown wing stork-bill kingfisher), corals and the amazing mangrove forest by boat.
There will be an optional stop at the beach for swimming and snorkeling. The grand finale of the trip is watching the feeding of wild eagles at close range. The tour ends with a lunch stop at a local restaurant. Free at leisure evening with an opportunity to unwind.
DAY 07 LANGKAWI
Breakfast. Free at own leisure to enjoy the wonderful beaches and diving or maybe a relaxing spa massage and scub! Evening at leisure.
DAY 08 LANGKAWI
Breakfast. Free at own leisure followed by your transfer back to the airport for onwards flight back home.
